A Better Way to Match People and Opportunities

Karen P. Hobson, founder of KP Hobson & Associates, was a highly sought after recruiter during her 14 year tenure as a Human Resources professional. Karen's success came as a result of her intimate understanding of the relationship dynamics between employer and employee. While other recruiters were concerned with merely filling vacant positions, Karen was concerned with making intelligent choices that resulted in long-term and productive employer/employee partnerships.

Realizing her knack for matching great companies to great people wasn't so commonplace, Karen decided that the best way to utilize her talents was to form her own company. KP Hobson & Associates was founded in 1999 and continues to grow as word of her company's success spreads. Karen still works personally with every client to ensure their ultimate satisfaction.

"I'm an expert at understanding what questions to ask and how to find out what companies and prospects really want," Karen says. "Sometimes, they're not even sure themselves, or have trouble articulating their needs, so I help them identify the qualities or concerns that are truly driving the decision making process."

The KP Hobson Difference

One of KP Hobson & Associates' largest competitive advantages is its proprietary database of both companies and candidates. Unlike other recruiting companies that rely on Internet boards to find open positions or job prospects, KP Hobson & Associates maintains a large database of corporate clients and individual candidates that it proactively uses in the employer/employee search process. The result is that many of KB Hobson's open positions are never advertised, and many of its prospects are contacted directly based on their specific backgrounds and subject expertise. Jobs are filled quicker, and the quality of the match is much higher.

KP Hobson & Associates prides itself on flexibility as well. Its services are offered on either a retainer or project-by-project basis so that companies can choose the option best suited to their needs.
